Their lone win during that stretch came with a come-from-behind victory at home against Arkansas. The Rams finished a dismal 3-9, their worst record since the Steve Fairchild era. The 2019 season showed little improvement, as the Rams finished 4–8, including losing to rivals Colorado, Air Force, and Wyoming for the 4th consecutive year.
